Job Description:

We are looking to hire a professional compassionate Monitor Technician to become part of our hospital team that will provide surveillance of electronic monitors for patients in a centralized telemetry monitoring station, with the ability to recognize normal and abnormal rhythms. This position requires thorough knowledge of arrhythmia recognition. You will also provide pulse oximetry monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient monitoring support and direct patient care.
• Maintain records and documents of cardiac rhythm for nursing staff.
• Observe and interpret cardiac rhythm of patients.
• Post and interpret rhythm strips at regular intervals.
• Perform lead placement on patients.
• Report any changes in latest and previous strips to nurse.
• Recognize and respond to abnormal patient condition.
• Clean medical equipment after each patient use.
• Maintain medical supplies and equipment needed to provide patient care.
• Deliver quality patient care services in timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
