Job Description:

We are looking to hire a highly driven Senior Operations Analyst that will be responsible for providing analysis and project management support for quality and performance improvement initiatives. The Senior Operations Analyst will work with the hospital Leadership team to ensure successful implementation of initiatives supporting the goals of the organization to include advanced analytics, developing, and implementing performance improvement strategies, and monitoring key metrics. 


Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of analyses, including qualitative and quantitative analyses.
  • Facilitates taskforces and committees of multi-disciplinary teams to identify performance opportunities, develops implementation work plans, implements opportunities, tracks imitative progress and related metrics, and manages delays.
  • Promote data driven culture throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Ensures that all HIPPA requirements are met.
  • Uses a mix of front-end applications and SQL databases to extract, clean, and wrangle data.
  • Integrates data from various sources while adhering to a high level of data quality.
  • Develops and maintains Power BI dashboards to track quality, patient satisfaction and financial metrics.
  • Writes clear and concise documentation on methods and assumptions for non-technical audiences.
  • Identify data quality issues and perform essential validation exercises.
  • Adheres to the hospital performance standards, policies, and behaviors.

  • Demonstrates a flexible attitude and ability to respond to a rapidly changing and demanding environment. Self-motivated, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including analytical skills for quantitative analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field required – Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in Healthcare Quality Improvement, Analytics environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required – Excel SQL preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC, MIDAS applications preferred. 
  • Proficient in Data Visualization principles and comfortable using visualization applications.
