Registered Nurse – First Assistant CVOR ( Will Train CVOR RN exp)!!

POSITION TYPE: Registered Nurse (RN) First Assistant CVOR( Will consider Strong CVOR RN Exp)

SPECIALTY UNIT: Cardiovascular Operating Room - CVOR 

LOCATION: Brooksville, Florida

SHIFT: Day Shift M-F 6:30am-3pm

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

Training available for Experienced GENERAL SURGERY RNFAs

This full time RN First Assistant position offers a regular M-F schedule consisting of 8 hour shifts with on-call rotations.

Must have experience- General Fist Assist OR Willing to cross train CV ( must have at least 6 mos. experience)

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an RN in a clinical setting.
• Active RN license within the State of practice.
• Current certifications (variable depending on the facility).
• Proven experience as a cardiovascular operating room nurse (circulating and scrub).
• In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and observation skills.
• The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Patient and compassionate.
