Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our team of expert Electrophysiology Lab (EP) clinicians. Our ideal candidate must be willing to support a positive, friendly, and professional working environment and perform tasks in a fast-paced setting.

This position will provide you with a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team that strives to care for patients undergoing Cardiac Cath and EP procedures.

To succeed in this role, you must have both the skills and knowledge to provide patient and community-focused, as well as clinically effective care. Additionally, you must be flexible, competent, and can easily or willing to adapt to changes in health care technology and delivery. 

Responsibilities:

·        Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

·        Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

·        Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

·        Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

·        Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Active RN license within the State of practice.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Current certifications (variable depending on the facility).
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as an Acute Care RN – Cath Lab, Critical Care or ER RN experience preferred.
• Required to stand for long periods of time and wear a lead apron due to being exposed to ionizing radiation.
• On call required with a 30-minute response time.
