JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing leadership for the cardiovascular service line

Develops objectives, policies, and procedures for department cost centers to formalize and implement the mission, vision, and values

Maintains the standards, customer relations, and practice in the cardiovascular service line.

Responsibilities include quality of services, short- and long-range planning to achieve goals and objects, fiscal control, physician and interdepartmental/intradepartmental relations, and personnel management.

Develops and executes initiatives in line strategic plan to improve the cardiac and interventional radiology programs.

Interventional Lab (Including 24/7 Call Coverage)

Outpatient Heart and Vascular

Outpatient Endoscopy

Outpatient Interventional Cardiology and Interventional Radiology Clinics

This position oversees approximately 50 FTE's whom perform approximately 2,000 procedures/year, including implanting devices, EP ablations & I.R. The listed requirements are absolutely must haves.

Requirements:

• Active RN license within the State of practice.
• BSN required; MSN preferred. 
• 3+ years of experience as Director of Nursing required.
• 5+ years of nursing leadership experience required.
• BLS Certification provided by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required.
• Exhibit brilliant compassion, communication, and critical care skills.
