CT Technologist – Hiring Bonus and Relocation Assistance

POSITION TYPE: Allied Health

SPECIALTY UNIT: CT Technologist / Radiology Technologist

LOCATION: Springfield, OR

SHIFT: Nights

JOB TYPE: Part Time, 0.875 FTE Night position. This position will be scheduled Wednesdays and Thursdays 1930-0600, and every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The CT Technologist:

Works in conjunction with the Chief Tech, Imaging Manager, Director and Medical Staff to improve the patient and workflow via providing support, education and leadership to the technical staff.

Performs CT procedures as outlined by the State and departmental protocols, which include but are not limited to neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic and cardiac services.

Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.

Requirements:

Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) RT licensure with perm or temp CT licensure

Permanent OBMI CT licensure required within 1 year of hire or at expiration of temp CT license.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider certification

Graduation from accredited school of radiologic technology program

MUST be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including 2 doses of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of a 1-dose ser

Experience with Siemens scanners a plus.
