Pharmacist II Needed – San Antonio

Great group in San Antonio seeking a Pharmacist II to join their team. Hours are full time, Monday-Friday, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care through various functions. Pharmacist II Fulltime

• Required: Graduate of and ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• Prefer 1 of the following: BPS Board Certification, Residency, Fellowship
• Must accrue ASHP Residency Preceptor status within 180 days of hire
• PGY-1 and PGY-2 residency completion or 5 years hospital experience required at hire.
• Pharmacy registration in the State of practice.
• Pharmacist preceptor within 90 days
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (pediatric practice) within 180 days
• Must maintain 10 hours of continuing education specifically in the management of hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients each year (FACT, 2015)
• Successful completion of ASHP-accredited residency (PGY1 and PGY2) OR 5 years relevant hospital experience (BMT/Hem/Onc) required
• Strongly prefer Board Certification in specialty area (e.g. BCOP or BCPS)
• ASHP Residency Preceptor status and ability to precept BMT/Hem/Onc rotation required within 180 days of hire
