Primary Care Physicians Needed – Houston, TX

Great group in Houston seeking Family Medicine Physicians and/or Internal Medicine Physicians to join their team and support the Houston market with occasional travel to the Fort Worth area. The hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. This is a 100% mobile position, visiting patients in their homes, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities. Responsibilities include supervising NP in the field, participating in quality improvement management, and enhancing the overall quality of care provided. You can expect to educate patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and early detection as well as interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients. You’ll assist in resolution of concerns, requests, complaints, and injuries, and maintain confidentiality of all patient information. Requirements:

·        Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

·        Must possess unrestricted medical license for Texas

·        Required MD or DO

·        DEA license required

·        Satisfactory of Tuberculosis test required for this position

·        Great ‘bedside manner’

·        Ability to collaborate with support team as needed

·        Comfortable working independently

·        Confident in skills, knowledge and clinical decision making
