Job Description:

We are in search of a Clinical Social Worker to provide care management and support to patients and families within an inpatient psychiatric unit. The Clinical Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessment, collaboration between multidisciplinary teams and community resources, discharge planning and assisting patients and their families adjusting to the psychosocial factors accompanying healthcare concerns and treatment.

Requirements:

• Current LICSW in the state of MA
• Master's degree in Social Work.
• At least one year of experience as a Social Worker in a related setting 
• Knowledge of community resources and agencies that serve the children and families
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others. 
• Ability to comply with all hospital policies and procedures that are job-related and consistent with business necessity. 
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and provide competent care as appropriate to the ages of patients.
