Gastroenterologist Needed – West Texas

Great opportunity for Gastroenterologist interested in practicing outpatient care. Busy facility with a strong endoscopy volume and a wide array of patients. The hospitalist takes care of admitting and managing patients which gives the GI the necessary time to provide individualized attention to his/her patients, performing procedures and taking care of consults. Various duties may include diagnosing patients, inspecting internal organs through endoscopic procedures, analyzing patient historical data, determine proper course of treatment, perform specialized tests to diagnose, and collaborating with primary physicians and other specialists as needed.

Requirements:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• ERCP with the usual upper and lower scopes
• Must possess unrestricted medical license for state of Texas
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Great ‘bedside manner’
• Comfortable working independently in a group practice setting
• Ability to collaborate with support team as needed
• Confident in ability, skills, knowledge, and clinical decision making
• Passionate about delivering high quality, value-based care
