Job Summary:

The Clinical Director of Rehab manages the nursing services and staff for the rehab department; ensures quality and full compliance with relevant policies and standards.

Major Responsibilities:

• Implementing and monitoring programs and practices for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care for patients and their families.
• Ensuring consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization.
• Overseeing performance of teams; identifying and addressing staff training and development needs.
• Apprising medical staff, department heads, and administrators in matters related to nursing service and strategies.
• Responsible for the total operations of the acute rehabilitation program.
• Accountable for budgeting, program growth, Human Resources management, expense management, program development, quality and outcome improvement, and productivity management in an interdisciplinary fashion.
• A role model for adherence to Kindred policies, procedures, communication and serve as the "face" of the program at the hospital.

Requirements:

• Clinical experience with a degree as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Registered Nurse
• At Least 1 year healthcare management experience
• At least 1 year acute rehab leadership experience
