Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Long-Term Care Nurse to join our team. This successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to our team of nurses in a long-term care setting, while ensuring the delivery of quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership to a team of nurses and support staff.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct performance evaluations for staff and provide coaching and mentoring as needed.
• Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new staff.
• Ensure staff education and training is up-to-date and meets regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license within state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a nurse in a long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Current certifications (variable depending on the facility).
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and standards for long-term care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
