Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and administering therapeutic IV treatments and infusions.
• Developing care plans.
• Educating patients and caregivers.
• Managing complications with infusion therapies.
• Monitoring patient responses to treatment.
• Performing patient assessments.
• Reviewing lab reports and drug information.

Requirements:

• Active RN license within the State of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an IV Infusion RN in a clinical setting.
• Current certifications (variable depending on the facility).
• Satisfactory completion of IV and medication exam.
• Demonstrate the ability to professionally handle public contact, confidential information, and maintain effective workflow systems; able to prioritize.
