Associate Dentist Needed for Community Health Center- 45 min. from Las Cruces

Great group in El Paso, TX seeking associate dentists for their team. This position is a salaried, full-time position, Monday to Thursday, 10 hour days, no nights or weekends, and within a community health clinic. You can expect to diagnose and treat diseases, injuries and malformations of teeth and gums, perform quality clinical and radiographic evaluations, promote oral health by providing educational information on all phases of preventative and restorative care, review and follow dental clinic protocols, policies and procedures, and participate in the evaluation and implementation of changes in the dental department. They’re looking for someone who is passionate about serving the underserved, who can work independently as well as in a team setting, and someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Other responsibilities may include:

·        Maintaining accurate and complete dental records and documentation of all patient care

·        Performing procedures such as teeth whitening, veneers, root canals, extractions, and cosmetic dentistry.

·        Develop treatment plans for patients.

·        Managing patient flow and work to achieve productivity goals.

·        Participate in the semi-annual evaluation of the dental support staff.

·        Participate in the dental quality assurance program which includes: Quarterly chart audits, Infection Control, OSHA regulations

·        Monitor and maintain the CDE requirements for your TX license.


Requirements:

·        DDS or DMD Certificate.

·        Current license to practice dentistry in TX.

·        Previous experience in health care setting a plus.

·        Spanish speaking preferred but not required.

·        Current TX Controlled Substance Registration certificate.

·        Current DEA.

·        Must meet eligibility requirements under the Federal Torts Claims Act.

·        Current TX dental license and annual registration.

·        Nitrous Oxide certification.
