Family Medicine Physician – Outpatient FQHC – Charleston, SC

Great group with multiple locations in Charleston, South Carolina seeking Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Medicine Physicians to join their team. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00. Some locations have one late day a week with hours of 9:00 to 6:00 pm. Light call schedule, once a month. Some responsibilities include providing preventative care, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, managing chronic conditions and coordinating care with specialists when necessary. You’ll also review and prepare medical history and data and provide supportive primary care. They’re looking for those who are passionate about serving the underserved and making an impact in the community, promoting health and wellness to those who sometimes need it most.

Requirements:

·        Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine.

·        Licensed in South Carolina.

·        Must meet CME requirements at all times.

·        Excellent patient and family interaction and time management skills.

·        Strong organizational skills, problem solving skills and analytical skills.

·        Ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion in managing patient and employee issues.

·        Passionate about serving the underserved community.

·        Required MD/DO.

·        Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

·        Comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.
