Job Summary:

• Associate performs quality Diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely manner.  
• He/she operates diagnostic equipment and processes images.  
• Associate prepares patient’s X-ray room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated and delivers patient services using various imaging modalities (understands PACS and RIS software).  
• Associate practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.  
• He/she maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and co- workers.  
• Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals.

Requirements:

• No previous experience required.
• Must be registered/eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of hire.  
• Must possess Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required only for individuals identified as HMC Designated Drivers
