POSITION TYPE: LCSW Behavioral Health Professional

LOCATION: 2 days on site, 3 days remote - Central NC

SHIFT: M/W/Th 8a-5p, Tu 8a-7p, Fri 8a-12p

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent


Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a licensed clinical social worker (would consider licensed clinical mental health counselor) to plan and provide clinical mental health service. They may also help coordinate with other personnel engaged in providing mental health services. This is your opportunity to make a satisfying career even more rewarding.


Responsibilities:

  • Conducts mental health screenings and assessments based on review of available records and clinical interviews.
  • Provides treatment by developing, implementing and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
  • Documents treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each person seen.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques by way of treatments and activities used for individuals in caseload
  • Provides appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the needs of patients

Requirements:

  • Current LCSW – social work license for state of practice - prefer NC and VA since there will be remote work.
  • Would consider LCMHC
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work.
  • Clinical Counseling experience preferred
  • Ability to comply with all policies and procedures that are job-related and consistent with business necessity. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients and provide competent care as appropriate.
  • Computer literacy is desired.
