Job Description:

We are in search of a caring licensed Social Worker to provide oversight of the operations of Social Services Department. Develop policies and procedures, coordinates operational activities, manages the budget and develops the capital in the Social Services Department. Ensures department meets all assigned metrics and ensures quality and performance activities for ongoing improvement.

Requirements:

• Current CA LCSW required
• MSW required
• Experience as a Social Worker in a medical setting required; stroke, trauma, homelessness case management and discharge planning preferred
• Experience with homelss patient discharging laws required
• 2 years acute care management experience required
• CPR Certification. 
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others. 
• Ability to manage all hospital policies and procedures that are job-related and consistent with business necessity. 
• Ability to effectively communicate effectively across departments and manage employee and HR issues.
• Computer literacy is required.
