SHIFT: Part-time, Mon-Fri (2-10's) partial evening/Sat rotations

JOB TYPE: Part-time Permanent


Job Description:

We are looking for a highly competent audiologist to join our medical team. You will be responsible for supporting and assisting patients who experience ear-related problems. The audiologist's responsibilities include treating patients who are physically and developmentally impaired, completing routine and diagnostic hearing tests, tympanometry, ABR testing, OAE testing, hearing aid dispensing, patient counseling, and collaborating with physicians regarding the diagnosis of medical problems related to the auditory and vestibular systems.

To be successful as an audiologist, you should be up to date with the latest diagnostic tools, have strong interpersonal skills, be highly skilled in administering assessments and appropriate treatments, and compassionate.



Responsibilities:

  • Administering tests on patients and recording results for future reference.
  • Conduct auditory tests when required by a physician.
  • Supply listening devices such as hearing aids.
  • Insert listening devices according to the patients' physiological needs.
  • Maintain medical records based on evaluations.
  • Consulting with other medical practitioners about the patients' needs.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Audiology or Doctoral degree in Audiology.
  • Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispenser license in state of practice required.
  • One (1) plus years’ experience practicing audiology with some technical understanding of ABR testing and operating room precautions. 
  • Clinical Competency by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification or ABA required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • CPR Certification required.
