Responsibilities:

  • Department Leadership: As the Patient Services Manager, you will oversee the Clinical Dietitians' daily operations, setting strategic goals and objectives, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the department. You will lead a team of skilled dieticians and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Patient Care Coordination: You will be responsible for coordinating patient care within the Dietitian Department, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized nutrition plans tailored to each patient's needs and medical conditions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality services is essential. You will monitor and maintain departmental standards, implement evidence-based practices, and conduct regular audits to uphold the highest level of care and patient satisfaction.
  • Budget Management: As the Patient Services Manager, you will be accountable for managing the department's budget efficiently, optimizing resources, and making strategic financial decisions to meet operational goals.
  • Training and Development: Promote continuous learning and professional development within the Dietitian Department. Conduct training sessions, workshops, and stay updated with the latest advancements in nutrition and patient care.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and relevant policies. You will ensure that the department adheres to all legal requirements and accreditation guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition / Dietetics required.
  • Active Dietitian License within State of practice.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required.
  • Food Service Managers Certification required.
  • One (1) plus years of experience in a Dietitian Leadership role, within an acute care setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of nutrition therapy, dietary management, and various medical conditions.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, work under pressure, and drive positive outcomes.
