We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Room, you will play a critical role in delivering rapid and effective emergency care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries. Your expertise, compassion, and ability to remain calm under pressure will ensure that patients receive timely and high-quality care during critical moments.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough and rapid assessments of patients in the emergency department to determine the severity of their condition and prioritize care accordingly.
  2. Treatment: Administer immediate medical interventions and treatments, including resuscitation, medication administration, wound care, and other emergency procedures.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, paramedics, and ancillary staff, to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
  4. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records, including patient assessments, interventions, and progress notes, in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  5. Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with information regarding their conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
  6. Critical Thinking: Utilize critical thinking skills to assess complex patient situations, make quick decisions, and respond effectively to emergencies.
  7. Safety: Adhere to infection control protocols, safety measures, and ethical standards to create a safe and healing environment.


Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 1 year of nursing experience
