Position Summary:

We are in looking to hire a professional Administrative Director responsibilities include overseeing the activities of the department staff, ensuring quality, productivity, functional excellence and efficiency to accomplish strategic and operational objectives. In addition, this position is accountable for employee engagement, adequate staffing levels, budget development and compliance, staffing decisions such as hiring and terminating employment, coaching and counseling employees on work related performance, and developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure a safe and effective work environment. This position also ensures training, monitoring and operations initiatives are implemented which secure compliance with ethical and legal business practices and accreditation/regulatory/government regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately identify real/potential problems affecting the service and implement solutions with follow through and communication.
  • Coach subordinates and provide feedback; constructive critique of work; facilitates individual development plan; and documents their job performance.
  • Adhere to all Human Resource policies.
  • Effectively build strong relationships and networks to deliver upon organizational and department goals.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate an ongoing program which assures quality patient care consistent with the hospital mission.
  • Responsible for department's operational excellence; ensures department delivers quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards.
  • Search out new program strategies and/or program enhancements which would expand patient services.
  • Responsible for the fiscal management of department; assures proper utilization of organization's financial resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 7 plus years Administrative Management to include proficiency in budgeting, grants and contracts, clinical administration, personnel supervision and space and faculties management
  • FASCHE preferred ( Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives.
  • Masters Degree Required
  • Cardiology or CV Surgery Experience
  • .RN with Clinical Oversight Preferred
