Mammography Technician - Full Time

Job Description:

We are actively seeking a skilled Mammography Technician to join our dynamic team in the Breast Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare facility, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mammography services to our patients.

Position Details:

• Salary Range: $41.10 - $61.65 per hour
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (Paid out in two payments)
• Relocation: Yes! Depending on the candidate's location

Work Schedule:

• Full time
• Days
• 8-hour shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct mammography procedures with a focus on accuracy and patient comfort.
• Ensure compliance with imaging protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout the mammography process.

Education and Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – Radiology (R).
• ARRT – Mammography (M).
• ARRT – Breast Sonography (BS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) – Breast (BR).
• California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) – Radiology.
• CRT – Mammography.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• Preferred:
• Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) approved School of Sonography in addition to JRCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Experience:

• Minimum three (3) years as a Mammography Technologist.
• Two (2) years of experience as a licensed Breast Sonographer.
