Pharmacy Technician *** $1,500 Signing Bonus ***

SPECIALTY UNIT: Certified Pharmacy Technician

LOCATION: Mason, Ohio

SHIFT: Afternoon Shift 4 pm to 12:30 am

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Staff Pharmacist, assists or supports the pharmacist as needed in all aspects of efficiently dispensing medication, providing accurate service, preparing invoices and bills, ordering and maintaining drugs and medical supplies.

Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical medical supplies and medical equipment required.
• Effective verbal and interpersonal skills are required. 
• Basic computer skills are required. 
• Familiarity with medical terminology, basic math and reading comprehension skills are preferred.

Requirements:

• Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent and minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Current State Pharmacy Tech.
• Certification or National Certification based on applicable state(s) required.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to stand up for entire shift (8 to 12 hours), to stoop and bend over, to lift moderate loads (up to 30 lbs.). 
• Hearing sufficient to answer telephone and eyesight sufficient to read prescriptions and job orders.
