Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional sonographer to join our team that will use ultrasound technology to create images of the heart and cardiovascular system. The sonographer will work with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other medical professionals to diagnose and monitor patients. You will be responsible for performing and analyzing ultrasound scans, ensuring high-quality imaging and interpreting results to identify any abnormalities or irregularities. The role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure its proper maintenance and calibration.
- Record and analyze data and prepare detailed reports for physicians and other medical professionals.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan and implement appropriate patient care and treatment.
- Educate patients about sonography procedures and provide emotional support as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with new technologies and techniques.

Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound.
- ARRT certification in Ultrasonography or ARDMS certification.
- 1 year of ultrasound experience in field/acute care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required through American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days of hire
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of technical expertise and proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment.
- Ability to maintain accurate and complete patient records and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
