Job Summary:

The Clinic Manager is responsible for the overall business operations, performance and success of the group. This includes day-to-day operations of the department and works collaboratively with Operations Director, Medical Lead and with leadership to develop, implement, and maintain programs that enhance stability and quality of care and achieve a high level of patient and provider satisfaction as well as meeting budgeted financial performance.



Responsibilities:

  • The Clinical Care Manager will assist with the management of provider's scheduling, time off and CME requests/reimbursements, recruitment, payroll, and student involvement.
  • You will also help prepare clinic budget, ensures data accuracy, prepares financial analyses, handles customer service issues and maintains provider/staff communications. 
  • Manages revenue cycle tasks and functions as assigned. 
  • Works closely with providers, other departments and clinic managers, and leadership in establishing clinic operating policies and procedures. 
  • Assists in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure they are in compliance with State and Federal Regulations, TJC Standards, and our company mission statements. 
  • Maintains an effective ongoing training program for all staff.

Requirements: 

  • Associate degree in a related health care field required - Bachelor's degree preferred. 
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications (E-mail, Scheduler, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) at intermediate to advanced level.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal instruction; highly effective organizational skills, decision making and problem solving; effective communication and including team building/priority setting. 
  • Excellent customer relations skills and competencies in phone etiquette, spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to read and write in English required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred - Medical terminology preferred.
  • Two (2) years of previous experience in a hospital/health care setting preferably in a clinic/health related business.
  • Working hours are varied and are frequently longer than an 8-hour shift. Flexibility in starting and ending times is required due to unexpected changes in schedule and urgent work deadlines.
