The Labor and Delivery/Obstetrics Registered Nurse prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care for assigned obstetrics patients. S/he carries out these responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards. Looking for daily challenges and endless learning opportunities


Then maybe a career on the Birthing Suite is the opportunity you seek. On their 8-bed LDRP unit, they deliver over 350 babies annually. The candidate will be cross-trained in all aspects of obstetrical care within the Birthing Suite. You will work alongside a well-established OB/GYN and pediatric group in a collaborative team environment and will assess, plan, organize, supervise, provide, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process.


  • EMR Experience a MUST!  
  • AWHONN Required
  • 8 Bed Unit
  • Ratio - 1:1 (active labor)
  • 1:2/3 for Mother/Baby
  • NO OR/C-Section knowledge required

REQUIREMENTS


  • Previous OB/L&D Experience - Required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Required
  • Fetal Monitoring experience - Preferred
  • NRP Certification - Required
  • AWHONN Certification - Preferred
  • STABLE Certification - Required
  • BSN (or better) - Preferred
  • Current NH RN licensure - Required

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • BLS
  • NRP
  • STABLE


STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

  • New Hampshire
