The Strategic Marketing Director is a senior-level corporate B2B marketer responsible for comprehensively understanding business and marketplace dynamics to develop effective annual strategic marketing plans. This role focuses on crafting go-to-market tactics that drive business growth, achieving financial objectives, and supporting existing and prospective membership. Collaboration with internal teams and GPO business leaders is essential to shape brand identity, develop resources, and uphold commitment to its membership base.


  • Lead branding initiatives and messaging
  • Develop annual and 3-year strategic plans
  • Craft and execute marketing plans aligned with growth objectives
  • Grow GPO membership through effective strategies
  • Create go-to-market strategies and value propositions
  • Promote and cross-sell offerings to optimize performance and savings
  • Collaborate with Sales Team for lead generation and nurturing
  • Develop strategies for alliances and maintain brand consistency


The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategic marketing planning and execution
  • Commercialization for product/service launches
  • Go-to-market planning for primary business growth
  • Collaborating with leadership and subject matter experts for content creation
  • Developing promotional material and collateral, including digital assets
  • Leading trade show and conference strategies
  • Supporting deeper penetration with strategic accounts
  • Business planning, problem-solving, and decision-making
  • Conducting market research, analyzing trends, and assessing opportunities
  • Execution of plans while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met

  • 10+ years of advanced marketing experience relevant to the assigned product/business or service.
