JOB TYPE: Part-Time Permanent

 

Job Description:

We are in search of a Mental Health Specialist to join our team of professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others. You will play a vital role in providing essential mental health support and services to individuals in need. You will work closely with a diverse group of clients to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans to address their mental health concerns. Your compassionate and empathetic approach will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their challenges and achieve improved mental well-being.

 

Responsibilities:

·     Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify clients' needs and concerns.

·     Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, considering their unique goals and circumstances.

·     Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, counseling, and support to clients.

·     Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

·     Offer crisis intervention and support during times of emotional distress.

·     Educate clients and their families on coping strategies and mental health resources.

·     Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to ensure holistic care.

·     Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation.

·     Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field of mental health through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

·     Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.

·     Licensure or certification as a mental health counselor or therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.).

·     Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·     Empathetic and non-judgmental attitude.

·     Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

·     Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.

·     Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards.

·     Experience in mental health assessment and treatment is preferred.
