Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric NP to join the team. 

Qualifications: Required

  • Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)  
  • OH license (or willing to obtain)
  • DEA (or able to obtain before start)
  • Completed Buprenorphine training requirement prescribing (or in process)

3+ years of work experience as a Psychiatric NP working with substance abuse disorders (not including RN experience)  

Job Description

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience working as a PMHNP in the Behavioral Health field, with specific knowledge in working with patients with substance use disorders.

  • Work with inpatient population 

  • For those seeking comprehensive addiction treatment, This applies not only to the addicted individual but families as well.

  • Utilizes the 12-step model of recovery combined with medical interventions to accommodate the needs of patients while always keeping in mind that every person is unique.

  • With several outpatient centers located in several communities across Ohio and Pennsylvania, we serve a broad area and accept patients from across the United States.

  • Collaborates with leadership and support teams to develop, maintain, and execute an integrated primary care and mental health model of care for patients with substance use disorders

  • Be an integral member of the treatment team by providing psychiatric direct services daily for check-in’s, initial evaluations, follow-ups and responses to patients in crisis

  • Provide training and continuing education for staff members related to psychiatric/mental health topics and other clinical evidence-based practices

  • Assists with clinical program development in collaboration with the Clinical Program Manager and Director of Nursing

  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must live within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate
