LOCATION:  Kennwick, Washington

SHIFT:  Variable

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent 36 Hours Per Week

Job Summary:

• Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
• Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. 
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. 
• Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.

Requirements:

• Coursework/Training: Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required; If no AA Degree, an equivalent combination of education/experience to that of an AA Degree may be considered. Or equivalent education/experience.
• National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire -or-
• National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire preferred.
• Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire preferred.
• 1-year medical sonography as a registered sonographer or as a registry eligible sonographer preferred.
