Are you a passionate and experienced Respiratory Therapist looking to make a real impact?
We’re seeking a highly motivated Manager – Respiratory Care to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our department. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll collaborate with the Technical Director to ensure top-notch patient care, staff development, and departmental success.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with the Technical Director to oversee and coordinate activities of all respiratory therapists across all shifts.
- Champion evidence-based practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide performance management and coaching to your team, ensuring they deliver high-quality and cost-effective care.
- Participate in developing and revising protocols, policies, and clinical standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve clinical effectiveness and efficiency.
- Interview and hire qualified Respiratory Therapists.
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff and other departments.
- Promote learning and development opportunities for students and staff.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 5 years of recent acute care experience.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (strongly preferred).
- Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for patient-centered care and commitment to professional development.
- BLS certification (required) with ACLS, NRP, and PALS preferred (obtainable within 3 months of hire).
