Lead Laboratory Technologist - Chemistry - Sign-On Bonus

We're seeking a highly motivated Lead Medical Technologist - Chemistry to join our team. In this role, you'll leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to perform complex laboratory analyses, mentor colleagues, and contribute to a positive and efficient lab environment.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze a wide range of blood, body fluids, and urine specimens using established protocols.
- Evaluate test results, identify abnormalities, and ensure accuracy before releasing them.
- Notify healthcare providers of critical and STAT results.
- Assist colleagues with troubleshooting instrument malfunctions.
- Participate in the evaluation of new laboratory products and procedures.
- Train and mentor other technologists, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Maintain strict adherence to all regulatory standards and quality control measures.
- Assist with staff development and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Participate in external proficiency testing programs and contribute to maintaining lab efficiency.
- Escalate any non-conformances, adverse events, or unusual occurrences to leadership.
What We're Looking For:
- New York State Clinical Technologist license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Technology or a related science with a minimum of four years of relevant laboratory experience.
- ASCP certification (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
