Job Posting: Director of Surgical Services

Location: Riverside, California

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Surgical Services to join our prestigious 517-bed acute care hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a large perioperative team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee 17 operating rooms across multiple facilities
• Lead and develop a team of 100+ FTEs, including 3 managers
• Manage all aspects of surgical services, including quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency
• Drive growth and improve patient, physician, and staff satisfaction
• Implement strategies to enhance operational excellence and patient safety
• Oversee fiscal management and capital equipment planning
• Cultivate strong relationships with physicians and staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
• Current RN license in California
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in surgical services
• Previous director-level experience in a comparable setting is mandatory
• CNOR and CSSM certifications preferred
• Strong background in improving operational efficiency and quality metrics
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
