Position Summary:
The Manager Pharmacy Operations is accountable for managing staff, operations, systems, and resources to ensure optimal results and high employee engagement. The Manager is responsible for continuous monitoring of pharmacy processes to promote a safe and efficient environment. Assures that the department is run according to organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Provides leadership for the overall daily operation of the Pharmacy in providing safe and effective pharmacy services. Manages the operations and functions of IV admixture services assuring that all operational and regulatory requirements are met. Develops and updates policies and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements and best practices. Monitors workflow on an ongoing basis and formulates strategies for continuous improvement. And accountable for maintaining workplace safety.

- Basic Skills – able to perform mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately.

Requirements:
- B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE - accredited School of Pharmacy Required.
- Hospital pharmacy experience
- Hospital pharmacy operations including leading projects and initiatives
- Sterile IV compounding experience
- Managerial or supervisory experience
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
