Director of Human Resources (People Services)
LOCATION: Missoula, MT
JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Organizational Mission and Values:
- Ensuring that company philosophies align with making communities healthier and creating an ideal workplace for employees, patients, and providers.
- Leadership and Policy Development:
- Leading the development and implementation of policies related to compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training to align with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Labor Relations and Legal Compliance:
- Overseeing contract negotiations, labor agreements, and ensuring compliance with employment laws while maintaining positive relationships with unions.
- Strategic HR Planning:
- Leading the People Services team in planning to meet the organization's short- and long-term human resources needs, using data-driven insights to drive change
- Consultation and Change Management:
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing coaching, and supporting change management initiatives to promote a positive and equitable work environment.
- Employee Relations and Development:
- Enhancing employee engagement, reducing turnover, conducting training, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilizing data analytics to identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve employee relations and overall organizational capability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partnering with various departments and functional areas to resolve internal customer issues and improve the overall employee experience.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of HR experience in a leadership role.
- Union experience.
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP, preferred.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Master's degree, preferred.
