Immune Hematology Manager

The Immune Effector Therapy Coordinator will have the ability to:

• Serve as a key resource for the multidisciplinary team, providing expertise on transplant care, protocols, and procedures.
• Coordinate and facilitate telemedicine conferences involving the transplant physician, referring physician, patient, and other key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their support systems, ensuring compassionate and personalized care.
• Actively participate in professional activities, leading efforts to promote best practices, department-specific initiatives, and process improvements.
• Engage in formal training programs focused on the care and management of patients receiving transplant and cellular therapies.
• Complete training on transplant and cellular therapy protocols, pathways, and compliance with the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) standards.
• Adhere to the ANA Standards of Care and Standards of Professional Practice in all aspects of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent (within the last year) acute care leadership experience in a relevant specialty. Willing to consider candidates with 1-2 years of experience or leadership experience in Transplant, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), Blood Cancer, Hematology, or Oncology.
• Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or an active multistate license.
• Certifications and Education: Must obtain one of the following within 2 years of employment: Bone Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN), Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Preferred Experience: Prior experience working in Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT), Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), or Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant programs is highly preferred.
