Job Description: Registered Nurse - Infusion

Available Shifts: Days (Rotating Weekends)

Location: Gainesville, FL 

Full Time

Sign On Bonus: 20k

Responsibilities:

• Administer intravenous (IV) infusions, injections, and other medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients throughout the infusion process, ensuring their comfort and promptly addressing any adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion treatments, medications, and any potential side effects or aftercare instructions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians and pharmacists, to create and execute individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including documenting administered treatments and patient responses in compliance with medical and legal requirements.
• Ensure the infusion equipment and environment are safe, sanitized, and adhere to infection control protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

•  1 year of recent (within the last year) acute care experience. Looking for someone that has acute care Oncology experience, Dialysis, or infusion. * Highly Prefer candidates with Recent Acute Care Experience working within a “Transplant & Cellular Therapy (TCT) / Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) / Blood and Marrow transplant program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support required
• Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida or current active Multistate license
• ONS Chemotherapy Provider required
• Graduate from accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
