The role of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in a hospital setting focuses on leadership, strategic development, and fostering relationships to meet the hospital’s operational and developmental goals. This role requires a balance of operational expertise, people management, and strategic thinking to drive the hospital’s objectives and ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Market Strategy & Relationship Building: Demonstrates a strong understanding of the market, actively engages in building relationships within the market, and develops a robust physician network.
• Performance Oversight: Maintains a high level of attention to detail when assessing hospital performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruits and nurtures high-performing team leaders, ensuring they contribute to the hospital’s success.
• Medical Staff Collaboration: Works closely with the medical staff to ensure the hospital provides high-quality care and services.
• Communication Skills: Communicates ideas clearly and effectively in both individual and group settings, whether within the hospital or in public forums.
• Leadership by Example: Acts as a role model by demonstrating competence, enthusiasm, and a commitment to quality, setting the standard for all hospital staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical, financial, or business-related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Behavioral Health leadership experience.
• Previous inpatient psychiatric leadership experience.
