Job Summary: 

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director of Psychiatry to oversee the psychiatric department within our healthcare facility. The Medical Director of Psychiatry will be responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care, setting strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Candidates should have extensive experience in clinical psychiatry, leadership, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction to the psychiatric department, ensuring high standards of medical practice.
• Policy Implementation: Develop and implement departmental policies, standards, and procedures.
• Quality of Care: Oversee the quality of care and monitor treatment outcomes to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
• Team Management: Direct and coordinate the activities of the psychiatric team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other medical directors and healthcare professionals to integrate and improve psychiatric services.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry - REQUIRED
• OH license (in hand or in progress) - REQUIRED
• Provider is a current local/Ohio resident - REQUIRED
• Chosen candidates must be willing to travel on-site for an initial interview (travel expenses to be reimbursed through Eastway) - REQUIRED
• Prior employment in Psychiatric leadership role(s) (note in "Experience" field) - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B? (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) - REQUIRED
