Job Description:
We are seeking a professional and experienced Director of Operations. You will play a critical role in overseeing the efficient and effective operations of a network of dialysis centers. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, meeting operational targets, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Your leadership skills, strategic mindset, and deep understanding of dialysis operations will be essential to the success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize dialysis operations, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of dialysis centers, ensuring smooth functioning, adequate staffing, and efficient resource allocation.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to develop and implement operational policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, administrative staff, and support personnel.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and employee satisfaction.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet patient demands and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to established quality standards and regulatory guidelines in all aspects of dialysis operations.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Monitor compliance with infection control protocols, safety procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accreditation and certification standards.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost containment.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement strategies to optimize revenue and control expenses.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and develop plans to expand services or open new dialysis centers, if applicable.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare organizations, community partners, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and effective communication channels.
- Participate in meetings, committees, and industry events to stay updated on dialysis trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in healthcare operations management, preferably in a dialysis or renal care setting with 2+ years multi-site experience.
- Strong knowledge of dialysis operations, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and revenue optimization with prior P&L Management experience.
- Advance computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required; intermediate skills and proficiency in MS Work, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
- Ability to adapt to changing healthcare industry dynamics and regulatory requirements.
- Valid Driver’s License required for travel.
- Covid-19 vaccination or a medical/religious exemption is required.
