Job Title: Medical-Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse (Med-Surg Neuro RN)

Location: Ft. Walton Bch, FL

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care to individuals with neurological conditions in a Med-Surg setting.
• Monitor and assess patients' neurological and physical conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including neurologists, surgeons, and therapists, to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, post-surgery care, and rehabilitation strategies.
• Utilize critical thinking and advanced nursing skills to respond to emergencies and changes in patients' conditions.
• Document all care provided and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

.   1 year of Acute Care RN experience Required

·         Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida , Multistate or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required

·         Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.

·         BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required prior to start

·         NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
