Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care, monitoring vital signs, and responding to life-threatening situations in a high-acuity setting.
• Administer medications, including vasopressors, sedatives, and analgesics, according to protocols and physician orders.
• Assist with cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and open-heart surgeries.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatments and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, progress notes, and treatment plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required

· 1 year of Acute Care RN experience

· BLS required

· ACLS required within 6 months of hire

· BSN is preferred

· CCRN a plus but must be obtained within 2 years. NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days.
