Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Outpatient Ortho Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our collaborative clinical team, you will have the opportunity to treat a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions to determine their functional limitations and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices to address patients' goals and improve their functional abilities.
- Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home programs, and strategies to manage their conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, other therapists, and healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay current with best practices in orthopedic physical therapy.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Washington State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice in orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
