SPECIALTY UNIT: Registered Sonographer-Mobile

LOCATION: Dayton, Ohio

SHIFT: Days 9:00am-5:30pm

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

Job Summary:

• Provide mobile ultrasound service using portable sonographic equipment
• Majority of work activity performed in various nursing homes, home cares facilities, prisons and processing sites
• Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
• Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. 
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. 
• Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.

Requirements:

• Applicant must be registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound. 
• Must be vascular (ARDMS:RVT, CCI:RVS, or ARRT:R.T.(VS)) registered at a minimum, dual modalities a plus
• Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all individuals. Alternatively, those seeking an exemption must submit proper documentation supporting their request.
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
• One year of ultrasound experience strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required.
