Outpatient Physical Therapist – PT
SETTING: Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic
LOCATION: Folsom, CA
SCHEDULE: Days (flexible scheduling)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join a dynamic PT team. As a key member of a collaborative clinical group, you will have the opportunity to treat a wide variety of diagnoses in an outpatient setting. This clinic prides itself on providing a supportive and innovative environment where you can make a profound and positive impact on the lives of our patients.
This position offers flexible scheduling based on your preferences. Our hours of operation are Monday–Friday, 7:00am to 6:00/7:00pm. We are currently looking to fill Monday–Wednesday–Friday but can accommodate a different schedule, up to five days per week. Very flexible!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions to determine their functional limitations and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices to address patients’ goals and improve their functional abilities.
- Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home programs, and strategies to manage their conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, other therapists, and healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay current with best practices in orthopedic physical therapy.
Qualifications:
- Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
- California State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice in orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
