Registered Nurse – Nursing Float Pool (Full-Time, Night Shift)
Shift:
Mon-Fri, 7 PM to 7 AM (13 shifts every 4 weeks)
Alternate weekends and holidays required
Salary Range:
$130,000- $170,000 annually
Position Overview:

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll work closely with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, and implement care based on individual needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
- Uphold patient rights and nursing ethics in everyday practice.
- Follow infection control procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Adhere to national and organizational patient safety goals.
- Delegate responsibilities to support staff in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate leadership and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
- Take charge of unit operations when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN required for all RNs hired after January 1st, 2018.
- Experience: Acute care nursing experience preferred (one year for non-medical/surgical or step-down units).
- Licensure: Current New York State RN license.
- Certifications:
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- ACLS certification required for all RNs except NICU and OR (must be obtained within 6-12 months of hire, based on experience).
- PALS certification required for specific units (Emergency, Pediatrics, etc.).
- NRP certification required for Mother-Baby, Labor & Delivery, and NICU RNs.
