Job Title: MRI Technologist
Department: Radiology
Status: Full-Time, Day, Evening, and Nights Shifts Available
Location: White Plains Hospital
Salary Range: $48-$58
About the Role:
As an MRI Technologist you’ll play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. You’ll work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient MRI procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for MRI examinations, including explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Operate MRI equipment and ensure optimal image quality.
- Assist radiologists during procedures as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiological Technologists) certified in MRI.
- New York State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the AHA (American Heart Association).
- IV certification preferred.
- MRI safety certification level 2 required yearly.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
