Job Title: Vice President, Quality Risk Management

Position Overview: The Vice President of Quality Risk Management will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s quality risk management strategies. This role is crucial in ensuring that all products and services meet the highest quality standards while effectively managing potential risks that could impact the organization’s reputation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive quality risk management strategy aligned with the organization’s goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to promote a culture of quality and risk awareness across the organization.
  1. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize risks associated with product quality, compliance, and operational processes.
  • Design and implement risk mitigation plans, ensuring proactive measures are in place.
  1. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality management.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance programs and policies.
  1. Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality and risk management professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding quality and risk management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality risk management into all operational processes.
  1. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of quality risk management initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports for executive leadership, highlighting risk assessment findings, quality metrics, and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration); Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in quality management or risk management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, FDA).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
