Registered Nurse (RN) – Manager, Medical Telemetry ( Tele NOT Required) seeking Acute Care Charge Nurse exp.

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
Job Description:
The Telemetry Manager will assist in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating designated areas of nursing and patient services to assure optimum care and services are provided for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee successful daily department operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity and patient satisfaction goals/objectives.
- Assist in managing staff including performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities to meet facility and regulatory requirements.
- Promote teamwork with physicians and all health care providers.
- Act as a liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians and employees to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Manage unit supplies and equipment to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Interface with the nursing schools and participates in curriculum development and provide clinical instructors when resources available.

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license within the state of practice.
- 5 years RN experience
- Minimum 2 years’ leadership experience in acute hospital environment.
- At least one year as charge nurse or unit leader.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
